- Ray - Churchtown Crevice map at memorial day regional. Big Manhole Dig. Was a rescue at (probobally brewer's) in ElMalpais memorial day. stuck at bottom, dropped ascender. unpadded rope, was chewed in half.

Zia
Had a meeting with Peter Pinot of Zia, but it was delayed. Said there are some 16 pits and springs in the area. Got estimates of their locations on google earth pictures. Many pits on the mesa from alabaster over towards Cuba. Found 4 of 6 marked pits they located. Most are just pits. Jeff Forbes called them spring mounds, some may have bad air. Call Zia Pueblo before visiting. Try to do some cleanup and documentation and give them your findings when you visit. NO ALCHAHOL ON PUEBLO!
- Auction got just over $500.
- 50th. Get reservations back to Sam. Next meeting, next week, wed-ish to discuss menu. Sam and Linda have been researching data on old members. Reserve your spot now.

Would like to collect some material on current Grotto projects to present at the 50th party.
Would like to get a pamphlet back going. Either get Jennifer to turn over some material, and/or try to find electronic version of previous pamphlet(s).
Kevin has some grotto logo stuff if you want stickers, pins, etc...
ABQ Outdoors (Parks and Rec) caving trips are sold out. Seem to have it all handled. Invited us to follow and give talk at cave if we wish, but no room on bus.
Program
Ray presents: Talked with Sandia Ranger district archeologist about cleaning graphitti from Sandia cave. Sandia Cave is a National Landmark, so there is more paperwork.
July 19 will be a photo-inventory trip to plan for cleanup. Call Ray for details. Plans to take off around 8:AM.
Equipment should show up Oct-Nov. Will need to buy respirator filters and blast media. Will need to run some pre-trip training/safety briefings. Try to do work during winter slow season.
