3953 ft. surveyed. Snowy River South exploration stopped at blowing borehole called Underground Railroad. Ft. Stanton up to 11.75 Miles.

Pronouns
May get a guest this evening. Not here yet. BLM land could be designated for mining. Looking for Grotto support to request that BLM travertine be preserved.

9 caves will be opened. Details at NE conservency WWW site. White Nose related closures are backing off. Asking cavers to be extra sterile, avoid cross contamination.
5 NSS cave preserves in NE will also be re-opened.
NSS and BCI are trying to fund and encourage research into White Nose.
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Looks like a new version will be released this summer in 3D.

Pecos
No news from Ted Bensen on the Baca (Sandstone?) cave work. River is still high. Access difficult. For first time in 15 years, they are planning a rigatta down the rio grande.
Graphitti Removal
Sandia cave. Some is historical, dates written (not verified) back to 1851. Ray will present on this next month, to plan what cleanup we may do. Ray will get graphitti removal equipment from NSS. Ray may want some help to check it out before use. We will need pack out the media, since paint may be toxic.
ABQ City Outdoors program
Robert Grubbs is willing to be PoC to work with them on the cave program.

Letter on Pronouns
Ray Keeler moves that Sandia Grotto sends a letter for the BLM redesignation of pronouns and other areas. Ray will write letter. Second Kevin Lormes. Passes by show of hands.
Ray will mail list to get grotto input, and encourage individual responses.

Albuquerque Folk Festival will be June 21 at state fair gounds.

There was some stuff on cave rescue management. Bemis directed. Mostly for non-cavers.
