came in after Sam Bono's Ft. Stanton trip report

  • Dan Montoya -- High Guads Grotto Trip. Hidden and Black. Cottonwood second day. Last weekend went to CaCa. Knutt. Blake. Tried to survey a pit. 120' rope did not hit bottom. Needed another rope. It had several landings. Last pitch was 60', buit they had only 30' rope left.
  • Jackie Ortega -- no caving
  • Aaron -- High Guads trip. Second day, helped resistivity study.
  • Vince ... no... inaudible...-- new -- mostly State Parks caving, wants to meet locals. UNM student.

Haloween

We often have a party. We need a house. We will have October meeting as usual. If somebody offers their house, we can try to do it this year. Any Volunteers?

The sunday after Haloween (Nov1) is the annual ski swap at Manual Lujan bldg. Items to sell must be brought in on Friday before. sandiapeakskipatrol.org free tickets are available there. Skis, boots, clothes, snowshoes... Come back sunday afternoon to pick up consignment proceeds, or unsold items. Snow show will be on fairgrounds at the same time.
